It all begins with a dialogue. The first step is to jointly define what you want to achieve with autonomy. We analyze your machine, its mechanical properties, its control systems, and the environment in which it operates. We seek to understand its key operations, safety requirements, and specific challenges. The result is a precise profile of the Level of Autonomy (Level 0–4) you need and the tasks the machine is expected to perform.
We don’t reinvent the wheel every time. Our technology is fully modular. Based on the initial analysis, we assemble the optimal combination of our proven hardware and software components:
Control Unit: The central brain of the entire system.
Navigation and Sensor Units: The eyes and ears of the machine, ensuring precise spatial awareness (GNSS, RTK, radar, lidar).
Software: The user interface and algorithms tailored to the specific application.
This modular “building block” approach dramatically shortens development time and reduces costs.
In this phase, we physically integrate our “autonomy kit” into your machine and connect it to its controls—whether it’s steering, propulsion, or work tools. This is followed by a crucial phase of calibration and rigorous testing, first in controlled conditions and then in the real operational environment. We fine-tune the algorithms and verify 100% reliability and safety.
A Real-World Example: Swiss Monotrac Tractors on Alpine Slopes
How does this work in practice? Our technology has been proven for years under the most demanding conditions on hundreds of autonomous Spider mowers, which maintain thousands of hectares of solar parks. The cherry on top, demonstrating the exceptional flexibility of our platform, is our collaboration with the Swiss manufacturer Monotrac. We equipped their specialized tractors, designed for steep Alpine slopes, with our technology, enabling them to work entirely without a human operator. This project is clear proof that we can integrate our autonomous system into almost any specialized machine.
Transforming your machine into an autonomous robot is not science fiction. Thanks to our modular approach and a clearly defined process, it is an achievable goal. We are ready to become your technology partner and equip your machines with the intelligence that will open up new possibilities.
